I have been an invited researcher at Paris VI University (3 months in 2010), the California Institute of Technology (6 weeks in 1992 and 1993), the University of Vienna (2 months in 2014), the Erwin Schrödinger Institute (6 weeks in 2011) and Keio University (1 month in 2004). I was a Visiting Scholar in St. John’s College, Oxford for one month in Summer 2014. I spent the period from September to December 2015 in the Institute Henri Poincare, participating in the Mathematical General Relativity programme. I will be a visiting researcher in the University of Vienna for an extended period in late 2015.

I have also been invited for short term research visits at the University of L’Aquila (2 weeks in 2006), the Erwin Schrödinger Institute (2 weeks in 2012, one week in 2014) University of Innsbruck (1 week in 2005), the Banff International Research Station (1 week in 2007), the Albert Einstein Institute (1 week in 2012), Paris VI University (six visits in 2009, four visits in 2010, three visits in 2011, three visits in 2012) and the University of Vienna (five visits in 2013, three visits in 2014, five visits in 2015). I will be a visiting research in the University of Bonn for two weeks in March, 2016.
